The unit works well, but it takes several passes in order to get all the gunk out of the carpet. I've been using this on carpet on stairways in apartment buildings to clean the dark stains. It has made a noticeable difference in refreshing the look of the carpet.

I have a large Sanitare, but it just takes too long to break out for small cleanups. This is the perfect solution pet accidents and small spills. I wish there was a little more pressure to propel the cleaning solution into the carpet.

I decided to purchase this after seeing that all the cheap consumer spot cleaners have poor suction, little water pressure and/or frequent clogs. This unit has 55 PSI of water pressure and 84 inches of water lift for suction. The suction is very comparable to a RUG Doctors 101 inches of water lift and stomps their 28-32 PSI water pressure.
