I purchased this washer one year ago and I have not been happy with it since it arrived at my home. At first I though it was just me---a women of the 80's who like's basic simple things--cold, warm or hot temperatures and small, medium or large loads----so I figured maybe all the strange things that this new Maytag washer was doing---such as blinking lights, making loud noise and locking and unloc

Won't fill with water. Unit is only 1-1/2 years old. Dryer I bought to accompany the washer failed about 3 months before the current problem with the washer. Will not ever buy another Maytag or what ever other appliances they build.
