I replaced the original valve cartridge in my Hansgrohe faucet with this one. The original had started leaking after six years. The replacement is a little different from the original. The replacement is slightly smaller than the original. The replacement lever arm is plastic; the original is metal. However, the replacement fits and functions perfectly.

This part was what I needed but I had to go on You tube to find a man speaking German (but with video) to show me how to replace it. It seems self explanatory until you have to remove the old cartridge and not sure how to get it out.
