i replaced my cook top with this brand new one. my old one was in perfect condition and it was 19 yrs old. never had a problem with it in all that time. i only bought the new one because my old one had blue burners and i wanted all white. i love it.

This stove top is easy to clean and heats up really fast. We really like the downdraft. The stove was easy to install but we needed help with the downdraft.It cost a little more then some of the others because of the downdraft, but well worth it.[...]

We replaced a cook top that had traditional coil elements with the GE Smooth-top cook top. The GE was easy to install and we could not be more happy with this upgrade. Cleanup has never been easier. Anything that does not wipe off with the recommended cleaner can be removed with a razorblade. We thought that heatup might be slower but we have not found that to be the case.
