Cooking is so much faster - a real time saver. We are still amazed at how quickly everything is done, almost as if by magic! When 1st using it stay close by to make temperature adjustments. It heats things up very quickly so you must be there until you get a feel for what it can do.

this stovetop is very easy to use, very efficient and fast for all kind of cooking with the proper cooking pots. The only draw back is that the tiniest spot of dust or even your finger for pushing a control button leave a mark hard to take off. GE should improve the surface. The unit has been installed for about 14 months. Replaced a 14YO 36" GE induction cooktop with two dead elements. No problems! Controls could be a little more sensitive, and control lock must be held over 5 seconds to activate/deactivate; otherwise cooktop works flawlessly. I use this product 2-3 time a day and it has surpased my expectations on the daily. The High setting is perfect for boiling. Water boils in less than 2-3 min in a large stockpot.
