Heats really quick, has a timer, and is somewhat kidproof. What wasn't so great was we had to purchase new pots and pans although we knew that going in. The large burner is a great size, larger than any of the others. This unit also required a smaller cutout than most of the others which in out case made a big difference

Easy installation for a DIY. Easy to clean, but instructions warn about potential scratching the ceramic glass top so we have been extra careful about sliding pots and pans on it. We replaced a gas cooktop with 18,000btu burners, but it was not effective or accurate on very low heat settings whereas this induction cooktop was very accurate on low heat settings as well as high. Great product, heats VERY quickly with precise control of the heat. Heat stops as soon as you turn the burner off. Makes cooking on an electric fun again. It requires SS pans or something simular.

I am a mother of 5 and use the cooktop daily. I absolutely love it. I was a little concerned about the reviews saying it is difficult to keep clean. That has not been my experience at all. We have been using it for 4 months and have had no difficulty cleaning spills, even ones baked on.

I am very impressed. I cannot believe how fast it boils water. The add said 90 seconds and that is a lie because it will boil water in 80 seconds. Also I cannot believe how fast it reacts.
