You have 19 control settings to choose from and can expect better results with more defined temperature settings. Pan Presence Sensors will automatically switch off the element when the pan has been removed for a period of time. This resolves the problem of walking away without switching off.

I replaced an electric smooth-top cooktop & this induction cooktop is wonderful. A full stockpot of cold water was boiling in 7 mins. The controls are precise & the response is immediate. I would recommend this product.

This was an update from my previous cooktop, and I couldn't be happier. Be advised that this cooktop only uses ferrous based pots and pans. More importantly than the product...please be advised that I saved very significantly from www.number1direct vs buying locally, and a 10 year warranty was icing on the cake. If you have time to wait, Number 1 Direct is the place to buy!

I love this cooktop. My husband installed it about a year ago. I had to buy new cookware, but I needed them anyway. The bottoms don't get brown or burned on like a regular stove. They're waterless, so I cook at a very low temperature. The high temperature setting boils water in a few minutes. I've never seen anything like it. Would recommend this to anyone.

research the product before buying. I had to give my calphalon set away and buy new stainless steel pots which are very heavy. Induction does not take anything but cast iron and stainless.
The small burner is at the back of the cook top so if you're using multiple pots, its hard to get to the small one.
The digital settings are great and I really like the locking mechanism for the burners.

I have learned to cook more in the last 3 years. I think the precise control is great. It heats fast, responds immediately when adjusting temp downward. I use all steel and cast iron cookware which performs better now with this stove. If there was a con (and this is minor), it would be streaking when cleaning. The all burners off function is great, as is having a built in timer.

I absolutely love this cooktop. It gives you complete temperature control from very low to very high and anything inbetween.
It is very, very easy to clean.
I can sum up the appearance in one word--beautiful.
I do not have one complaint with this cooktop (which is quite unusual for me).
