Yes, you will have a little more cleanup time. Due to cast iron griddles needing cool down time, you have to wait 30 minutes to cleanup. But if you love a good homemade breakfast, this stove cooks awesome pancakes. We used to have a standard 4 burner (of same size) cheap stove and the new one is much more versatile with the different burner sizes. It will take a few uses to become good at using it
