We bought this stove because it was good looking, seemed to have all the features we needed and fit into the space we had. We are avid cooks and can each season as well. The high BTU output on the big front burner would have been a great canning burner, except that using it with our canning pot caused the front plate, which strangely enough is made out of plastic, to melt. We loved our stove initially, but recent experience with the faceplate melting while we used the high BTU output burner to can made us lose confidence. Fridgidaires refusal to take care of us, even though we'd only been using the stove for less than 3 months was deplorable. Who puts PLASTIC next to a high BTU output burner and then blames a customer when it melts under normal use?

I wanted a gas slide-in range and I shopped for weeks and I am so glad I chose Frigidaire 30. It looks and cooks like a "pro". The oven is huge and has lots of rack options for all size pans. The settings are easy to operate. The warming drawer is perfect and can be set at any temp. [...] I have been so proud of it that I keep it clean easily and have not used the self clean option yet.

The overall look of the range is great - the knobs, the control pannel, the finish. The only area that has room for improvement is the spacing of the burners, which is not a real issue once the grates are put in place. The oven space is a great design - very large capacity. I love the slide in design which works very well in a small kitchen like mine. I've only had the range installed for a few da
