Cast iron grates are made in a continuous platform design and coated with additional porcelain-enamel to endure years of cooking on high heat. Grates have additional protection with Smart Flame technology that prevents flames from reaching them, thereby, reducing grate discoloration.
Devoted cooks don't simply cook food they use various techniques to capture rich flavors. Six burners ranging from 8,500-14,000 BTU are at your disposal to cook everything from stocks to omelets. Burners are sealed by gaskets preventing boil-overs from seeping underneath the cooktop surface and potentially damaging internal components. Remove control knobs and trim rings to thoroughly clean all areas and knobs are D-shaped for proper replacement.
