- How many coils does the mattress have?

Queen Mattress Price

Mattress Height
The measurement of the heighth of a mattress. Typically measured in inches.
Innerspring Coil Count
The total number of coils in an innerspring mattress.
Quilt Layers
The top of the mattress that consists of the upholstery layers, fibers and cover.
Upholstery Layers
The layers of the mattress that contain the various foams that determine the comfort of the mattress.
Coil Support
The part of the mattress that provides the support. A support system typically consists of an innerspring system or foam core center. Various types of support systems are available depending on the mattress manufacturer and line of mattress.
Edge Support
The coil system of the mattress extends to the outer edges, providing additional support when someone sits on the edge of the bed. Edge support helps the mattress retain size and shape for many years of use.
Foundation
Provide the durability or support for modern, one-sided mattresses. Foundations and box springs perform the same function but are different. A foundation uses no moving parts or springs. Mattress foundations can be made from a variety of materials and are intended to provide support just as a box spring.
Handles
Handles on the sides of a mattress that are made from fabric to help position the mattress on the foundation. Handles also make rotating the mattress an easier task.
