Whether you use a wall oven or range with a built-in oven, there are quick and easy oven recipes available to cut down on your time in the kitchen. After all, who wants to slave over the hot stove all day when there are plenty of things to do in this nice weather? Here are 5 recipes for next week that will limit your time both in the kitchen and over the stove. Bon appetite!
Monday: This tasty Creamy Baked Chicken and Rice recipe only takes 5 minutes to prepare and 1 hour to bake. It’s a complete dinner without all the hustle and bustle of a traditional dinner.
Tuesday: Roasted Herbed Fish Fillets sound good right? Make this easy recipe and pear it with a steam bag of rice and vegetables and you have one easy and delicious dinner.
Wednesday: This easy to make Bisquick Chicken Pot Pie is one of my personal favorites. It’s tasty, quick, and very fulfilling. I usually substitute the mixed vegetable for a can or 2 of mixed vegetables but it’s up to you. Either way, I’m sure this is a recipe you’ll make for many nights to come.
Thursday: Here is a pasta recipe with no boiling involved. I know, you can thank me later. For now, give this No Boil Pasta Bake a try. Pair it with Texas toast and a bag of steam in bag vegetables and you’ve got a complete meal.
Friday: This Super Fast Pork and Veggie Stir Fry recipeis fun, easy, and tasty. Serve it with a bag of steam in bag rice (I’m sure by now you can tell I absolutely love steam in bag products) and have yourself a feast.
Ok… I’ve planned your family’s dinner for the week. I made sure all of the recipes were fast, easy, and tasteful. So, while dinner is cooking, relax a little bit. Take a bubble bath maybe. But don’t fall asleep in the bath as I cannot be held accountable for you burning the pot pie.
Even though a basement is not finished, it doesn’t have to look like complete disaster and dust factory. Take time out to improve the look of your basement so that next time you hit the bottom step, you don’t feel so intimidated. The first thing to do is remove the clutter. Pull out some unwanted items out and have a garage sale, or donate them to the Goodwill or a charity. You’ll be surprised what you get rid of. As the old saying goes “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.
After you’ve gotten rid of some of the clutter, do some cleaning. Sweep and spray down the floors. Get rid of some of the cobwebs in the ceiling. Organize whatever you have left in the basement. Designate a spot for everything. If you can, designate an area in the basement for unsightly must-haves and block that area off by hanging a fashionable curtain or room divider. Buy storage totes, shelving, and hangers to help you make things more presentable.
To make the laundry area even more inviting, section it off with room dividers or curtains. If you desire, paint the walls and floor with bright crisp colors and add organization like clothing racks (or designate pipes for hanging clothes), laundry pedestals, a folding table, and storage drawers or shelving to store all of your laundry accessories like stain remover and dryer sheets. You can go all out and replace your old laundry appliances with new shiny ones like the Samsung WF511ABR washer and Samsung DV511AER electric dryer.
I guarantee these minor changes will change the overall look and feel of your basement and make doing laundry less of a task and more enjoyable and refreshing. Even your clothes will feel cleaner!

As a part of Goedeker’s commitment to quality customer service, and to ensure you get the most out of your product, we’ve complied a short list of newsletters, blog communities, and product review sites. All of these sites relate to the products in our inventory in some way. This is just another way we look out for our customers. We are providing you with resources that will be useful before, after, and during your purchase from Goedeker’s.
Of course you can sign up for our newsletter. This address is located at the top of this list much like the first ingredient on a nutritional fact label. I wonder why? Probably because it’s the most important of them all. *hint hint*
If you love GE appliances or are considering purchasing your first one, sign up for the GE newsletter. Every issue is filled with their latest product innovations, special offers and tips to make your life just a little better. How could you not want to read that?
ConsumerReports.org is a website designed to let you know buying advice and expert ratings for over 5,000 products.
Yes, Sleepy’s is a competitor, but they have great resources for anyone looking for a mattress. From sleep guides to mattress care guides, this site has a lot of helpful information for mattress seekers. Sign up for their newsletter and see for yourself. Besides we’re confident enough with our products and customer service to suggest their newsletter in addition to our own.
Consumer Search collects reviews, analyzes them, and recommends products for you to buy. This is especially helpful when making purchases with online stores such as Goedeker’s since you won’t be able to see, touch, or feel the product before you purchase it.
We can provide you with the laundry machines, but we’ll let Mama’s Laundry Talk give you the tips and tricks to doing your launder efficiently and effectively. Besides, don’t grandmothers do the best laundry anyways? At least my grandmother did.
“As was our first experience, our second order with them went great! On time and in good condition!”

“Very pleased….and surprised at the prompt delivery! I had checked with two well-known national retailers for the same stove and their prices were $200 – 350 higher and their delivery dates were 4 to 6 weeks out. Goedeker’s delivered my new stove promptly and courteously within 2 weeks of my order. I would definitely shop with them again. Very happy!!”

“This was our first experience with them. They had a great price on a GE gas cooktop that we wanted so we ordered it. I am not thrilled that they charged my charge card and didn’t ship for 10 days but Sara in customer service explained to me their process which I was not aware of. I thought they stocked the items. Sara was most helpful and prompt with her replies. When we received shipment, everything was wonderful except the griddle and I was a little worried when they told me to call GE as it was a manufacturer problem and not theirs. But they apparently know what they are talking about as GE asked me for some information and then told us they are shipping a new one free of charge with nothing else needed. So overall, I am pleased with the total experience, just encountered a few bumps I would say.”
