Purchased this Kitchenaid refrigerator in March of 2013. Since we have had the refrigerator the ice maker has been repaired twice. It has had one broken drawer where the tracks cracked. The last issue we started to have just started this month (October) the interior liner is cracking. We have horizontal cracks forming inside the refrigerator liner for no reason. We informed Kitchenaid customer service and had a factory service technician look at the issue. He agreed there was a problem and liner of the refrigerator is cracking for no reason. Kitchenaid has a factory repair for the problem. When they told me what the repair is I could not believe it. They put white tape over the cracks to cover them up. I cannot believe such an expensive refrigerator, having this significant of an issue where the internal liner is cracking for no reason and the factory solution is to cover the cracks with white tape. They told me it is not considered a serious flaw in the product. Over the past years I have had five or six Kitchenaid refrigerators. They have all been good high quality long lasting products. Now I buy a new Kitchenaid refrigerator and in less than a year I am having issues that bring into question the quality and reliability of this product. As Kitchenaid service put it;

Kitchenaid's response speaks for itself. I guess white tape is the solution. Or maybe red tape! I'm not sure now.
